Lunar Outpost
Golden, Colorado is the original home of Lunar Outpost. Our headquarters feature a state-of-the-art clean room, Mission Control, and rover development facility.

Mission Control
Lunar Outpost’s headquarters houses Mission Control, a next-gen operations center developed with Castrol to support off-world mobility. Key features include:

-
Real-time command and telemetry tracking for robotic missions
-
Advanced communications and planning tools for seamless Earth–Moon coordination
-
Stargate Ground System Software powering data analysis and mission operations
-
Central hub for future missions, first used on Lunar Voyage 1 and built for the next frontier

Clean Room
Lunar Outpost’s clean room is a vital environment where lunar and planetary rovers are meticulously assembled under strict contamination controls.
This space is designed to keep sensitive components free from dust, particulates, and other contaminants, ensuring the integrity of our hardware. By upholding these high standards, we enhance mission reliability and meet the stringent cleanliness requirements essential for successful spaceflight operations.

Southern Colorado Autonomous Testing Facility
Lunar Outpost’s Southern Colorado Autonomous Testing Facility is where we rigorously test the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) in challenging off-road conditions. This proving ground enables advanced mobility, autonomy, and endurance testing to ensure the LTV is ready for the extreme environments of the Moon and beyond.

Colorado School of Mines' Regolith Test Facility
At the Colorado School of Mines, Lunar Outpost uses a regolith testing pit to simulate lunar and Martian terrain. This allows us to test rover mobility and durability in realistic conditions, helping validate systems and ensure mission readiness.
